TwingTec is developing the next generation of wind energy technology: TwingPower. By using a tethered wing or Twing, stronger winds at higher altitudes can be harvested. The system is easy to transport without a tower or foundation and can be set up or demobilized without a crane, a key advantage for remote off-grid locations.
TwingTec’s first product, the TT100 is a containerized mobile wind energy system producing clean electricity cheaper than fossil fuels. Fully autonomous and easily deployed, the TT100 offers significant diesel savings as well as uninterruptible power supply (UPS) functionality.
