Today we are presenting our latest publication: Public Private Partnerships. This factsheet has been published within the project “Viable Cities Finance” in collaboration with the Stockholm Environmental Institute and the Stockholm School of Economics.

This text aims at providing at first glance to Public Private Partnerships, an interplay mechanism between public and private institutions in which there is finance, risk and knowledge transfer. Although it is common in many countries in the world for large infrastructure projects, it has barely been used in others, such as Sweden. Why is that? What are the challenges of the Public Private Partnerships? What is the potential that they have? Could they help advance the sustainability agenda?

We try to approach all these questions and we hope this will help you have a clearer understanding of what is, or could be, a Public Private Partnership.
